I need to lose weight

While riding the bus yesterday morning I thought of a few new ideas for the line that I wrote down in my notebook. With the months going by so fast it seems like everything will be out before you know it. Excited but still a bit nervous about it.
Work is going pretty well. I'm going to start working full time (Monday-Saturday) which means more money in my pocket but this only means Sunday is going to have to be spent working over time on the brand. Who networks on the weekend? Not too many people so I'm going to have to figure something out. I know I can do it so it's no big deal. Bring it.

Weekend wrap up

It's another Sunday evening as I sit here enjoying a cold coke and thinking about some of the highlights of the weekend I'd like to share with everyone. First off I'd like to thank my sister for picking me up two Jack In The Box tacos since I hadn't eaten all day.

Any how this weekend was spent working like crazy. I put in almost 28 hours of work in just two days. I Haven't even started working FULL TIME yet although the owner told me I would be in the next week or so.

A local California brand took it upon themselves to lurk around my myspace and this blog for ideas. If there's anything else you need let me know!

It's finally Friday. Whats good for the weekend? Work. Finally got my promotion, for real this time. Talked to the owner Thursday afternoon right before I was about to lave the house to run some errands. Yesterday afternoon I came across a pair of sneakers I didn't know even dropped or were dropping.

Daddy go hard

Probably the best album of 2009! I can not stop bumping this! Thanks to my sister I have a new ipod, lets see how long I can hold onto this one before breaking it like the other two. I think it's safe to say that Hova is bigger than hip hop.

Back to business

We now have three shirts set in stone for pressing not including the shirt we're working on with Canadian clothing company Single Second. You may be wondering how many times I've said a design was set in stone and let me just say I've said that about.....at least twelve different designs. This isn't as easy as some companies make it seem. Keep in mind most of the major streetwear lines out have numerous team members working on designs for them. Right now I'm my own team trying to think of designs that not only I like but designs I know others will like.

Personal life

Work is turning into another job I hate. I'm trying to stay positive and hope that the owner stays on his word and promotes me like he said he would last Wednesday. The other week I was talking to Zeresh about how everything seemed to be fallen in place but now everything with work is starting to seem too good to be true......My parents made me strong, nothing can hold me down.

I've known this girl for some time now, I'm going to say about four years or so? Yeah four years. Sweetest girl but if you fuck with her she will come down on you like the wrath of God. Any how for as long as I've known this girl fashion and sneakers have been her vice, not to mention cutting your hair and making you look bomb. Ha! Real talk the line isn't going to drop until April but I wanted to give you guys a preview of my main model. Will she be on a shirt? MAYBE!!!! New pick up/ update

Just wanted to take the time out and post these bad boys up. Apart of the Puma X UNDFTD collection. A few months back I realized that brands like Puma/Sacony/New Balance have been pushed to the side by so many. You never realize things like that until you sit down and start doing your research, looking up in archived threads, ect. I am very impressed with so many older releases from all the brands mentioned and have been considering selling all my dunks/Jordan to pick up some of these old runners. Any how these came in yesterday actually but I just now checked the mail box (yes I know it's late). I had been waiting on these for some time now although the seller kept in contact with me throughout the transaction it took a little over a month for them to come in. Size 11.5, my size. Will I wear them? Of course! I don't discriminate any of my sneakers and wear all of them to the fullest. There's no point in keeping a sneaker on ice. Why buy something and just keep it in the box? Rock em don't stock em!



Back to business:

Went to Kinkos' today and picked up the posters I was working on. Thank you once again Single Second for helping me out when that nerd backed out on me last minute. So with posters in hand I stopped by home depot and picked up a few things I'd need to plaster the shit out of them up and around.

Off topic

When I first started this blog I told myself I wouldn't get too personal and kept it strictly with updates on the line, designs, ideas, ect. Wheres the fun in being all business? So this post is going to be different from the pervious post. Up top is a picture of Mike V. Hung out with him last night for the first time in probably two years. I've know the guy for years now and is one of those people that you don't see much but when you do it seems like you had just seen them the other day. Know what I mean? Really good guy, always down for a dance party behind the bar and laughed pretty hard when I told him about the time I broke the window at Denny's.

I'd like to thank everyone for the emails! I WILL start a twitter for the company this week, a lot of you have been writing me about it so I'll get it done and post it up on here for the following. In other news production will be put on hold until January with the line dropping by Spring 2010. A lot of people willing to do business with us so I'm not going to half ass and let anyone down.
Shout out to Canadian streetwear Single Second. Been talking to Derek of SS for the pass two weeks and he's a good kid. Moshes to Integrity and just yesterday dropped pictures of their upcoming fall/winter 2009 collection. By spring 2010 keep an eye open for the Mala Suerte X Single Second tee. From Canada to Texas.
